This triptych invites us to discover beauty in simplicity. Its raw elegance stems from a selection of discreet but graphically strong butterflies and beetles, whose patterns converse with the textures.
Inspired by the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, this work celebrates the beauty of imperfection, detachment from the superfluous, and the acceptance of the ephemeral nature of all things. It also evokes the patina of time, perceived as a quality that enriches the object and its history.
The main composition, inspired by the famous Rorschach tests, unfolds according to a double axial symmetry, reinforcing the overall visual balance.
