Christina's Sunbird

This small but majestic sunbird, perched on its black pedestal, seems to gaze at the sky. Its throat oscillates between violet and crimson, while its back is adorned with metallic blue and green hues. The polychromatism of its wings is due to the structure of its feathers: the colors are said to be structural, produced by the diffraction of light, much like a prism.
