Ostrich egg large base

Our classic chicken eggs look grey compared to these superb ostrich eggs. Their grainy texture and size make them unique. Often measuring between 15 and 17cm, they are more suitable for pretty bases than for narrow egg cups. This one, on its high dark wooden perch, looks like a cup and ball game. But we strongly advise against using it for this purpose.
