Haliotis fulgens natural

This abalone, commonly called green abalone or shiny abalone, is a marine mollusk belonging to the Haliotidae family. This abalone is known for its flat shell and iridescent colors. Its shell is flat and oval, slightly convex. The outer surface of the shell is rough, with greenish-brown hues. It is marked by concentric spirals and irregular tubercles. The interior of the shell is of a pearly iridescence, with green, blue and silver reflections.
