Doxocopa cherubina

Doxocopa cherubina , the Turquoise Emperor, is a butterfly from tropical America recognizable by its large iridescent blue-green patches that cross its dark brown wings. This color changes subtly depending on the angle of the light, revealing a deep iridescence typical of the genus.

Presented in a hermetically sealed glass-fronted box, it is enhanced by a black frame on a white background.
