Creation by glass artist William Geffroy of a cabinet of curiosities containing several specimens of glass cephalopods.

His use of glass cylinders, tinted throughout and then heated to high temperatures, allows him to work with this fragile and delicate material with the greatest freedom. Following in the footsteps of glass artist-scientists initiated by the Blaschka brothers in Germany in the 19th century, William Geffroy combines the codes of museum and scientific collecting with those of the decorative arts.
