Under this glass dome, a fascinating encounter takes place between two natural wonders from different worlds.
At the heart of the composition sits a shell of Haliotis iris, also called paua, native to New Zealand. Its nacre creates a play of moving reflections reminiscent of the changing surface of the ocean. Delicately placed on top, the Urania leilus butterflies unfold their deep black wings, streaked with emerald green iridescence.
The combination of these two elements creates a poetic dialogue between the different aerial and marine realms.
