"Peacock" composition in symmetry

In a square format, this mesmerizing kaleidoscopic composition draws its inspiration and color palette from one of our institution's iconic specimens: the peacock. Built entirely around symmetry, this work reveals a spectrum of blues and greens that capture the eye. By playing with volumes and layering, the composition reveals multiple squares and highlights the graphic patterns of the insects that compose it.
