This box set brings together three tropical cicadas with unique appearances and colors: the Gaeana cheni with its contrasting patterns, the majestic Cryptotympana aquila with its powerful song, and the luminous Tosena splendida, whose turquoise and brown wings rival those of butterflies.
In many cultures, the cicada is a symbol of rebirth and immortality. Its life cycle, marked by long years spent underground before emerging and singing, makes it an emblem of transformation and the celebration of life. These three specimens are presented in a frame accompanied by the engraved brass plate "Deyrolle".
