Juvenile Ural owl

This young Ural Owl (Strix uralensis), still in juvenile plumage, is distinguished by its dense, fluffy, grey-beige down, which does not yet have the striated structure of the adult. Its large, dark, highly expressive eyes and small orange-yellow beak give it a particularly endearing appearance. Perched on a branch mounted on a black base, it is presented in a calm posture, with its head slightly tilted.
