Anteos clorinde

Anteos clorinde , called the Lemon Butterfly, is one of the largest Pieridae in tropical America. Its very pale ivory-white wings are delicately marked with a bright yellow spot on the forewings, a discreet but characteristic pattern.

Presented in a hermetically sealed glass-fronted box, it is enhanced by a black frame on a black background. Each specimen is carefully identified by a calligraphed label. A brass plaque engraved with the name Deyrolle certifies the authenticity of this unique piece.
